KEVIN FEELY BSC. MSC. ARTC

Kevin Feely is the founder and owner of Kevin Feely Athletic Therapy. Based in Kildare, Kevin graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Therapy and Training from Dublin City University in 2017. He has recently completed a Master of Science degree in Strength and Conditioning in the Institute of Technology Carlow.

Kevin has a broad experience in pitch-side and team cover as an Athletic Therapist and has worked extensively for Athy Gaelic Football Club as an Athletic Therapist providing cover for their minor, under 21 and Senior teams. Kevin has also worked as the Head Athletic Therapist and Trainer for the DCU men’s soccer team and has completed two 6-week tours as Head Athletic Therapist for the Pro Soccer Consulting Development Teams. Kevin gained valuable clinical experience during a work placement with the MDC Physiotherapy Clinic in Kildare town and during his two years spent working in the Student Lead Clinic in Dublin City University expanding his knowledge greatly in the area of manual therapy.

Away from work, Kevin has an extensive sporting background from which to draw many valuable experiences. Kevin spent four years as a professional soccer player from 2011 to 2015 and has played at a variety of professional levels such as the League of Ireland with Bohemian F.C., the Championship in the English Football League with Charlton Athletic F.C., and League 2 of the English Football League with Newport County A.F.C. Kevin returned from the UK in 2015 to resume his Gaelic football career with Athy GFC and Kildare GAA and complete his degree in DCU. Kevin is currently the Vice-Captain of the Kildare Senior Football Team and received a GAA All Star nomination in 2017. In November 2017 Kevin was chosen to represent Ireland in the International Rules Series against Australia in two test matches in Adelaide and Perth. While completing his Master’s Degree Kevin worked as a Games Promotion Officer for Leinster GAA with a variety of clubs throughout Kildare.
